Is the word "outing" still being used now Didi? hehehe. Bahala na :)
This morning, me and the kids tagged along with Mark and his Vespa Club buddies to Laguna.
Today was their 2nd Ride-to-School Program where they’d be donating bags to a school there.
Here’s the loot inside the bags carefully chosen by Vespa club president, Uriel Protomartir:
We don’t always tag along with Mark on his vespa club trips but I wanted the kids to be part of this. I wanted them to experience giving to others and to be grateful for what they have.
They weren’t able to physically give the bags to the kids because the teachers had to check to whom to give the bags to, but they were able to help the vespa club boys pack the school bags :)
The people from the Puypuy Elementary school were really sweet. They fixed up a short program as thank you for the boys :)
With balagtasan pa presented by 3 of the students. Cute :) They also served us merienda of sopas and water afterwards :)
In less than an hour, everything was done ;) We then headed to Forest Club Eco Camp, owned by the family of vespa club member, Wawel Mercado.
As soon as they saw the pool, they kept pestering us on when they could swim already :) hehe. Excited. At first, I wasn’t too sure about letting them swim due to the weird weather, but when I found out that the water in the pool is fresh water from an underground hot spring, go na :)
Mati asked me if this was a rock or poop. Ayayay. Kids . . .
After a couple of minutes, tada! Ready to swim. But first, picture, picture . . .
They had a blast :) Daddy and Ate Kris accompanied them. I wasn’t feeling too well so I didn’t swim. The water looked really tempting though. . . .
Lunch was care of Wawel. It was the birthday of his wife, Mila and his brother, Miguel. Thank you Wawel for letting us share this special celebration with you and your family. Wasn’t able to take pictures though, cause I was busy feeding Adi.
After lunch we left the Mercado family to continue on with a more private celebration :)
The road home was like a scene from a Mario Bros. game. So many pipes!!! :)
The geothermal plant
Because we passed through the new roads, we were home by 4pm :) Tired but happy.
